WISCONSIN OPERATING ENGINEERS SKILL IMPROVEMENT AND APPRENTICESHIP FUND, in conjunction with the following organizations, administers the oldest and most widely recognized apprenticeship program in the State of Wisconsin for Operating Engineers:
- IUOE Local 139
- Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association
- Allied Construction Employers Association
- Wisconsin Underground Contractors Association
- Associated General Contractors
- Associated Earth Movers
- Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards
In addition to training apprentices, the Apprenticeship Fund offers continuing education to journeyworkers to keep their skills up-to-date and learn new and innovative methods.
Don’t be fooled by Associated Training Services or similar programs. An apprenticeship with the Operating Engineers gives you more, better training at a fraction of the cost.
The Apprenticeship Fund’s training center is located on 380 acres near Coloma, Wisconsin in Waushara County.
